What is a Spinal Adjustment?
A Spinal Adjustment is a manual therapy technique used to restore joint mobility, reduce pain and restore nerve function. We use 2 techniques when adjusting, High Velocity Thrust (HVT) and Low Velocity Technique (LVT).

What is Sports Massage?
Sports massage is a specialised therapy aimed at improving athletic performance and recovery It focuses on muscles relevant to a specific sport, helping to enhance flexibility, reduce tension, and injuries. This type of massage is essential for athletes to maintain peak physical condition.

In your initial consultation appointment you will be greeted at reception and taken down to the clinic room for your scheduled treatment by the manual therapist. You will complete,

Do you offer mobile manual therapy sessions?
Yes! We offer Home Visits if you have had an initial consultation with us in-person at the clinic. Book Here

How many sessions will I need?
We don’t know! Everyone is unique, two individuals with the same condition may need different treatments and care. We treat everyone as an individual and pride ourselves on patient centered care.

What should I wear for my appointments?
We recommend wearing sports/gym wear for sessions but if you’re having Sports Massage you may be required to remove clothing depending on the area of the body being worked on.

Your Manual Therapist will guide you through this process ensuring your privacy is kept throughout.

Will any treatments hurt?
No, our treatments will not be painful but you could feel pressure and discomfort depending on your treatment. For example, Trigger Point Therapy can be an intense experience, but your Therapist will communicate as much as you require and will always gain consent for different techniques during treatments.

What should I do after my treatment?
Post treatment advice are health related recommendations we make to enhance positive results for your body. If followed this will reduce the amount of sessions/time required to reach your goals.
Hydration, reaching 1-2L of water based drinks
Eating, ensuring you have enough energy in your system to help with recovery from your sessions
Heat, delivering the body heat post treatment will aid recovery results
Rest, allowing the body to avoid stress and keeping your nervous system calm
Move, After one sleep cycle return to your exercise routine and mobilise areas that have been treated
